It’s Your Shift — Sexual Violence & Intervention Hospitality Training

Did you know we’re offering 2 pre-conference sessions this year? They’re included in your registration for the Northern Ontario Tourism Summit! Developed in partnership by ORHMA, OTEC AND THRC, complementary It’s Your Shift online training program and manager’s toolkit were made available to industry stakeholders in the fall of 2017. This interactive introductory session includes  background information and videos on the issue of sexual violence and harassment in hospitality-related businesses, the impact on employees in the sector, and the repercussions to businesses that aren’t paying attention to the issue. Designed to introduce and highlight the key components of It’s Your Shift, the session provides owners, operators and managers with next steps for accessing the online training program.
